Who is behind the sutdio doors

Elise Skepper is a Macedon Ranges local, mother of three, and maker at heart. After two decades in the corporate world, she returned to what has always called her — clay, craft, and the quiet satisfaction of making something beautiful that also works.

Her ceramics are born from a simple belief: that the objects we reach for every day deserve to be considered, crafted, and lasting.

A smiling woman with glasses and short brown hair in a pottery studio, wearing a pink shirt and a dark apron, working on a pottery wheel with a ceramic piece. There are buckets of clay and plaster near her, along with a corkboard and posters with pottery fees and instructions in the background.
A person working on a pottery wheel in a garage studio, surrounded by tools, pottery, and storage containers.
A black metal shelving unit with three wooden shelves, holding unfinished ceramic pottery, including bowls, cups, and plates, in a workshop with tools, a window, and a view of a yard outside.
